Thank you so much for your generosity and support of my son and all babies fighting this disease. Your help means the world to me.

FAQ

Where do donations go?

The Wylder Nation Foundation, a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit, is the recipient of all of our donations. They are the ones actually developing the treatment for Damian's specific disease, and we are in frequent communication with them to see how our funding is expediting their progress.

Which donation method do you prefer?

Please use whichever method is most convenient for you! It ultimately all goes to the same place, and the differences in fees are small/non-existent.

I want to make sure you get the most of my donation.

Do any of these methods collect extra fees?

Thank you so much! The differences are slight, so don't worry too much about that. Like most online transactions, transaction fees apply any time you use your credit/debit card.   GoFundMe donations normally include a 2.9% credit card transaction fee on regular campaigns, but it is only 2.2% for campaigns like ours because it is linked directly to a certified charity (Wylder Nation Foundation). They will also take 30 cents of your donation for their own profit. So whether your donation is $10 or $1000, they will take no more than 30 cents. GoFundMe donations are tax-deductible. Venmo & PayPal donations do not include transaction fees if you are transferring funds you already have in your Venmo/PayPal accounts. If you do not have funds in your account, the fee to use a credit card is 2.9 - 3% (and PayPal will take an additional 30 cents). These donations are not tax-deductible.

How can I help contribute to your fundraiser events?

Thank you so much! As I plan for each event, I will often create a gift registry (like an Amazon registry) with supplies I need to create the event. I post links to the registry on my Instagram stories and on blog posts associated with the event, so stay tuned in to my Instagram account and blog for those updates. I am so so grateful for your help with these projects, and I love how they become true group efforts with your support!
