How to help #SaveDamian during the holidays!

Thanksgiving is this week! And Christmas is next month! EEEK, can you believe it??

The fact is: there has never been a better time, nor an easier way, to help us make some strides to our fundraising goal. I've been asked a lot the past couple weeks (because you all are WONDERFUL!!!) about the best ways to optimize opportunities during the holidays for our campaign - so without further ado, here's a list of some of them!!

1 - Use my Amazon links to shop online!

If it sounds easy, it's because it IS. I have an Influencer account with Amazon, which means any Amazon link I post has the potential to earn us money for our campaign!

Here's how to do it:

1. Click on ANY Amazon link that I have posted. Like this one: CLICK HERE

2. The link will take you to an Amazon product, but you do NOT need to buy it! You can just shop like normal at that point. As long as you have clicked my link and then completed any Amazon purchase in the same sitting from the same device, I will get a commission off your entire cart!

To date, I have received $771.74 representing just 2 months of people using my Amazon links! That's FREE money that our campaign gets just from people tapping a button before doing the shopping they were going to do anyway!!! Thank you all so SO much for remembering to do this, ESPECIALLY with Black Friday coming up this weekend!!!

2 - Ask your employer to donate or match donations!

At this time of year, many businesses donate to registered 501(c)3 nonprofit charities (they get a tax benefit by doing this). The Wylder Nation Foundation (who we are raising the money for) is one of these charities that will qualify businesses for the tax benefit!

I've had a few people tell me their employer asked them to nominate a charity for their donation (THANK YOU to everyone who nominated the Wylder Nation Foundation!!). You can also ask your HR rep about it. Even if they've already selected their nonprofit beneficiary, many companies will MATCH an employee's donation dollar for dollar (some double, triple, or even quadruple the donation!) year-round. Most big corporations (including Disney!) do this - just ask your HR rep!

3 - Include us in your annual newsletter!

How many of you send out physical Christmas cards or newsletters? If you do and would consider dropping an additional little paper in the envelope, I've made mini flyers especially for the holidays! You could include a note in your card that says, "In this Season of Giving, I'd like to share a cause near and dear to our hearts" or something similar!

4 - Hosting Thanksgiving this weekend? Use our coloring pages at the kids table!

5 - Keep sharing!!

Our most successful efforts at reaching new people (so far) has been from sharing our reels, our posts, our links onto your own social media accounts. Of course, that means I need to create content that is worth sharing - whether it's content that is informative about our situation and campaign, simply Damian being CUTE, or a craft or activity Damian and I have done together. I'll do my best to get as much posted as I can! (If you prefer to share something I've posted in the past, that works too!!)

Thank you thank you thank you so much for being so supportive of us. I am so grateful for each and every one of you. I see you taking the time to help us even though this time of year in particular is challenging for all of us in one way or another. I am so amazed and inspired and blessed by you.

And I am SO grateful.
